Chottie loved collecting what she called "strips." We call them bands. Eventually, she put them into this sampler, citing in the text their provenance (if known) and stories about how she obtained each strip.
In late 2023, early 2024, our friends at Dayton EGA will be selling the chart for stitching Wrought By Me. It has 49 bands and was originally stitched all in DMC floss. Chottie was allergic to silk, so she never used silks in her pieces. So head on over to the Dayton EGA website for more information!
